ENG 21400 Modern Drama

The study of the work of major international playwrights since the 19th century, among them Ibsen, Chekhov, Fugard, Brecht, Shaw, Churchill, Strindberg, Genet, Beckett, and Pirandello. Focus is on the relationship of theater to contemporary social, political, psychological and aesthetic realities. Fulfills literature requirement for AA degree.
