ENG 10100 College Writing I

This course emphasizes the creation of clear, thoughtful prose directly linked to the critical reading of a variety of genres of non-fiction texts, such as essays, articles, and scholarly critiques. Focus is on the interpretation and analysis of course texts, as well as the content, style, and structure of academic essays, particularly expository, analytical, and argumentative essays. At least three to five formal essays are required in addition to one documented essay, which students must pass in order to pass the course.
