SPE 21200 Speech for the Classroom Teacher

This course will explore the role of communication in the classroom. Areas to be covered include characteristics of the classroom communication process; elements of interpersonal communication; listening skills; nonverbal communication; techniques for selecting and implementing teaching strategies; and communication barriers. Theory, participation and performance are required. This course is intended for both the novice and the teaching professional.
