ART 12800 Ceramics I

Learning to work with one's hands through regular practice develops skill, discipline and confidence within the individual as well as an appreciation for and experience with humankind's continuing history of ceramic artisanship and ingenuity. This course is an introduction to ceramic techniques including throwing on the potter's wheel, hand building and glazing. Skill development will take place during class time and open studio hours. No previous art experience is necessary.
