SPE 10900 Intercultural Communication

This course is designed to develop a student's sensitivity to the understanding of communication needs of people from different cultures. Topics covered will include verbal and non-verbal communication, culture shock, low and high context communication patterns, handling conflict, and intercultural relationships. This course is strongly recommended for students preparing for careers that will require them to communicate with people from other cultures.
