SPE 10300 Communication for English Speakers of Other Languages

Supporting English speakers of other languages (ESOL), this interactive course assists students with overcoming communication barriers due to cultural and speech differences. Students improve their English proficiency while participating in realistic communication situations, language-based projects, and speaking activities that can be easily transferred from the classroom to the community. Cultural diversity is celebrated while integrating American culture and language. Any student wishing to improve functional communication skills is encouraged to enroll in this course.
