MCS 20300 Women, Men, Sex and Power - Honors

This introductory honors course in women's and gender studies will explore issues of power relations in society. We will examine how sex and gender intersect with race, culture, socioeconomic class and LGBTQQIAA identities. We will consider what it means to be oppressed and what equality/freedom would look like for people of varying intersectional identities. Realms such as politics, work and interpersonal relations will be explored.
