HPW 10500 Wellness and Pilates
Students will have an opportunity to reinforce and master an overall understanding of fitness and wellness. This will be achieved by applying skills necessary to make fitness and wellness with an emphasis on Pilates. This course will focus on building a healthy, injury-free body by encouraging controlled and concentrated movement. Students will learn how to center the body with breathing awareness while maintaining dynamic spiral stabilization. Pilates is a full-body conditioning program comprised of a series of designed movements performed on a mat.
