LGS 10800 Real Estate Practices

Students examine the fundamentals of real property transfer in New York. Topics covered include methods of acquiring ownership of real property, characteristics of the various estates in property, types of ownership, surveys and descriptions, types of liens and encumbrances, types of deeds and mortgages. Students will prepare various real estate documents, review closing procedures and post-closing activities.
