CRJ 21800 Introduction to Gangs

This course examines and explores the nature of gangs including the definition of the various types of gangs as well as female gang involvement. It will examine the theory and methods of understanding gang culture and the group process of gangs. The course will analyze culture and subculture as well as discussing law enforcement's and society's response to gangs.
