CFS 13800 Star Wars: Movies to Modern Myth

An exploration of the Star Wars saga and its overarching impact on filmmaking and cinema. Students examine the cultural, economic, and social impact these films have had in the U.S. and globally. Students will also examine the relationship between the Star Wars films and the representation of the franchise through other forms of media such as: literature, music, theater and television.
