PSY 22600 Psychology of Childhood - Honors
Explore the scientific study of human development from conception through late middle childhood. Current dominant theories, issues, controversies, and concepts are examined and applied to integrate the physical, emotional, and sociocultural aspects of development. Special
emphasis is placed on the parent-child relationship and on research methodology specific to child development. As an honors course, research and a resulting research project/paper is required.
