ENR 20300 Engineering Statics

An analysis of the action of forces on static objects and structures. Explore the use of vectors to fully analyze a system of forces in equilibrium conditions. Analyses include moment of forces, friction, distributed forces, center of gravity, and moments of inertia. This foundation in engineering mechanics prepares students for future courses including dynamics and mechanics of materials.
