CRJ 15000 British and American Courts

From Magistrate's to Crown Courts, the British Court system is compared to the US (United States) Court system. The structure and function, and the participants of both court systems are examined. Students will improve their understanding of the history and evolution of both court systems and gain perspective on the concept of Criminal Justice in differing social and cultural contexts. This Cours has a study abroad trip component.

Travel expenses and fees for trip component are in addition to tuition.
