SPA 20100 Intermediate Spanish I

This course is the first half of a two-semester intermediate sequence organized to enable students to attain a functional level of proficiency. This course reviews the fundamentals of Spanish grammar, with emphasis on developing proficiency in oral reading and writing skills. Selected themes, together with cultural essays, literary excerpts, and news articles in Spanish, aim to broaden student insight into Hispanic/Latino life and civilization.
