PER 16600 Theatrical Stage Combat: Rapier & Dagger

To create the illusion of violence, the actor must combine specific techniques with timing and controlled movement. It is the objective of this class to develop skills which will enable the student to create the illusion of reality through theatrically staged combat that will look convincing and be safe while telling a story on stage. Course culminates in a Society of American Fight Directors adjudicated Skills Proficiency Test.
