MAT 10300 Contemporary Mathematics

The purpose of this course is to provide non-STEM students with an understanding of the nature of mathematics beyond an algebra course. Topics include set theory, logic, probability and statistics, numeration systems, graph theory and financial mathematics. This course is for students who intend to pursue a humanities or social science degree.

MAT 10010/MAT 10110 or equivalent
