HOS 21800 Hospitality in the Hudson Valley

This course introduces students to the resurgence of businesses and tourism in the Upper, Middle, and Lower regions of the Hudson Valley including Greene, Columbia, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Westchester and Rockland counties. The revitalization of restaurants, retail and tourism of villages and town throughout the Hudson Valley will be explored in-depth with a concentration on the impact to the hospitality industry. Students will have the opportunity to explore career opportunities that have emerged from the revival of these New York towns.
