CFS 26600 Theatrical Screen Combat: Lightsaber

The actor must combine specific techniques with timing and controlled movement in order to effectively and safely simulate physical conflict. It is the objective of this course to develop and build upon physical skills to enable the student to create illusionary storytelling, through rehearsed theatrical combat techniques for film that will appear convincing on screen, but safe for the actors. Focus will be on Lightsaber dueling and the modern mythological storytelling from whence the weapon derives.
