CFS 20000 Directing for the Screen

This course will examine the purpose and function of the director for films as an artist and an integral component of the film industry. This course will also teach the student the technical aspects of directing for film from conceptual storyboarding/design to production and premiere. We will examine and analyze works from various directors. The course culminates with each student directing and producing a short film for public viewing.
