ACC 10100 Principles of Financial Accounting

As an introduction to the concepts and the principles of financial accounting, this course analyzes how financial information is developed and utilized to prepare and to interpret financial statements. Methodology of accounting and the application of accounting principles will be covered to prepare the financial statements according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Other topics include recording merchandising transactions and inventory methods, internal controls, and an introduction to financial analysis and the Statement of Cash Flows.
