NUR 14400 Intro to Adult Health/Mental Health

The Nursing Process is applied to care for the adult and/or adolescent patient with health conditions related to the areas of psychological regulation, nutrition and bowel elimination. Clinical experiences are provided in the acute care and/or mental health settings in the community and in the Nursing Skills/Simulation Laboratory.

Prerequisite

NUR 10300 (with a grade of C+ or higher or challenge exam, CPL); and NUR 11500 (with a grade of C+ or higher) or NUR 11800 ( with a grade of C+ or higher); and BIO 11000, ENG 10100 and PSY 10110 (with a grade of C or higher)

Corequisite

ENG 10200 and CST 10100 (if the student has completed prior to NUR 14400 they must achieve a grade of C or higher)
