Program Description:
Humanities provide students the opportunity to develop intellectual capacities, judgement and understanding of human relationship in the social, cultural and natural environment of the past, present and future. Courses focus on analysis, problem solving, critical thinking, writing and oral communication.
Program Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Identify credible sources of information, analyze, and produce evidence-based arguments
- Demonstrate an understanding of key concepts and fundamental principles in at least on humanities discipline
- Analyze the content of the development of the discipline studied
- Demonstrate the ability to think critically and problem solve
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
