SCI 11600 Sustainability, Society and the Environment

This interdisciplinary course in environmental studies will examine the ability of the Earth and society to provide food, fresh drinking water, energy, and other natural resources to an expanding population. The scientific, political, economic and social aspects of these issues will be presented and discussed.
