NUR 01000 Language of Nursing

This course presents terminology basic to nursing, focusing on its meaning and use in the practice of nursing. Terms are grouped into major units that parallel this in Nursing Process courses, covering terminology related to needs assessment of the following: skeletal and muscular systems, cardiovascular and lymphatic systems, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, integumentary and the nervous and endocrine systems. Practice exercises involving reading, writing, and speaking are given with each unit.
