HON 10100 Introduction to the Sam Draper Honors Program

This seminar introduces students to the Sam Draper Honors Program and teaches important skills for succeeding in college and beyond. Topics covered include epistemology and the fundamentals of academic argumentation; identity, values, and goal setting; study skills and the fundamentals of proper citation; maintaining physical and mental health; career and transfer preparation; degree/certificate advisement; financial literacy; and strategies for engaging with RCC’s many support services. Students will aggregate and curate their coursework in an e-Portfolio.
