EHP 11300 Self-Defense

This course is a beginning level course that will focus on the fundamental principles, theories and techniques used in self-defense. There will be an on-going discussion of the realities and varieties of violence. Students will participate in techniques through partner and solo practice. The class will discuss the ideas from which these techniques derive. There will be partner work as well as solo practice. Theories behind self-defense strategies will be discussed.
