ACD 20300 Special Issues in the Field

Provides students with a comprehensive education related to the broad range of planned and continuing services, including: diagnostic evaluation, continuing assessment, counseling, medical pharmacological, psychiatric, psychological, spiritual and social care, relapse prevention, vocational rehabilitation and career counseling. Will develop cognizance of confidentiality and ethical issues involved in assessment and treatment, which may be extended to persons with alcohol and other substance abuse problems. (This course is part of the 350 CASAC Certification Program, 45/350 hours)
