CST 25000 Public Relations: Principles and Practice
Blending introductory skills with a comprehensive analysis of the profession and industry, the course allows the beginning student to determine whether the public relations field is the one which he/she/they wish to enter as a major area of study. Students will be introduced to public relations through its history and future; careers; job requirements; two way communication for organizations and their publics; ethical and social responsibility; social media trends and emerging technology.
